In my current role as the head of marketing, public relations, and communications for the Nashville Sports Council, I oversee a dedicated team, including a brand and marketing coordinator and a strategic partnerships coordinator. I've been at the forefront of innovative strategies, notably spearheading a comprehensive rebranding of communication channels that significantly elevated the organization's prominence.
My leadership extends beyond marketing initiatives; I have successfully launched and currently oversee impactful diversity, equity, and inclusion programs with an emphasis on women in sports and HBCU athletics.

My accomplishments include generating tens of thousands of dollars in sponsorship revenue through the creation of compelling marketing assets and content. I’ve doubled earned media coverage through strategic campaigns and implemented an e-newsletter strategy that significantly boosted engagement. Overseeing day-to-day operations for the TransPerfect Music City Bowl, I’ve orchestrated successful advertising and public relations campaigns.
In addition to leading the bowl's rebranding efforts, I managed the production and deployment of official commercial and radio ads. Notably, I recently launched a captivating docuseries, "Behind the Bowl," offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the bowl's diverse facets. In my capacity, I have served on multiple committees and acted as a liaison between boards of directors and staff, showcasing my commitment to collaborative leadership.

Reno 1868 Football Club
Public Relations & Digital Media Manager
In my role as the Public Relations & Digital Media Manager at Reno 1868 Football Club, a professional soccer team in the United Soccer League (USL), I demonstrated a comprehensive skill set that significantly elevated the club's visibility and brand recognition. I created and managed day-to-day and long-term editorial calendars, optimizing page views and boosting engagement on social media platforms.
Collaborating closely with marketing managers, media buyers and advertising executives, I played a key role in enhancing Reno 1868 FC's presence in the Reno-Sparks-Tahoe area as well as nationally in the American soccer world. My responsibilities extended to driving the communication process for major club announcements, managing game-day statistics and running weekly press conferences.
My key accomplishments include a 125 percent increase in impressions and engagement across all social media platforms year-over-year. I spearheaded the successful launch of the "1868" beer with Great Basin Brewing Co., directing the commercial and crafting the name, slogan and design for the beer.
Additionally, I led impactful campaigns for USL MVP and Rookie of the Year in 2017 and successfully launched one of the top away kits in North American pro soccer in 2018, earning rave reviews and recognition on nationally televised Men in Blazers.

During my tenure as the Middle Tennessee State University Athletics Beat Writer from with the USA TODAY NETWORK – Tennessee, based in Nashville, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of Division I athletics. My responsibilities included daily coverage for both The Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro and The Tennessean in Nashville, contributing a minimum of three stories and blog posts each day across online and print platforms. As a multimedia journalist, I significantly enhanced web traffic on the MTSU beat by over 500,000 views in less than a year, employing SEO strategies to optimize online visibility. My proficiency extended to various social media tools, including Twitter and Facebook Live, engaging readers and directing them to our digital platforms. I played an integral role in breaking significant news in the sports arena, from coaching hires to recruiting updates, and covered notable events such as MTSU's historic NCAA tournament victory over No. 2-seeded Michigan State. Beyond reporting, I shared my expertise through journalism critiques for students at the University of Alabama and Middle Tennessee State University, underscoring my commitment to fostering the next generation of communicators.
